Managing Your Profile

Keep your account information up to date so the court can reach you and your filings are processed correctly.

Accessing Profile Settings

Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of any page, then select Profile. Or navigate to Profile from the sidebar.

[Screenshot: Profile Settings] The profile page showing your email and role at top, followed by editable fields for First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, and Mailing Address, with a Save Changes button.

Account Information

Your email address and role are shown at the top for reference. These are set during registration and cannot be changed from this page. Contact your court's e-filing administrator if your email address needs to be updated.

Updating Personal Information

You can update the following fields at any time:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Phone Number
  • Mailing Address

After making changes, click Save Changes.

Why keep this current? Your contact information is used for court notifications and may appear on filed documents. An outdated phone number or address could mean you miss important communications from the court.

Payment Methods

To pay filing fees, you need a stored payment method on file.

Adding a Card

  1. Navigate to your profile page
  2. In the Payment Methods section, click Add Payment Method
  3. Enter your credit or debit card details in the secure Adyen form
  4. Your card is validated and stored securely — no charge is made at this time

Managing Cards

  • View your stored cards with the last four digits displayed
  • Remove a card you no longer want to use
  • Add a replacement card at any time

When are you charged? Your stored card is only charged when a clerk accepts your filing. If your filing is rejected, you are never charged.

Payment failed? If a charge fails after acceptance (expired card, insufficient funds), your filing moves to "Payment Failed" status. Update your card and retry from the filing detail page.

Changing Your Password

Password management is handled through Clerk (our identity provider). To change your password:

  1. Click your profile icon and select Manage Account
  2. Follow the prompts to update your password

If you signed up with Google or Microsoft, your password is managed through that provider.
