Logging In to CottFile

There are two login paths depending on your role:

Attorneys & Public (Filers)

  1. From the homepage, click Sign In and select Attorney / Public.
  2. Sign in with email and password, or use Google or Microsoft sign-in.
  3. You will be taken to the Filer Dashboard.

Court Staff (Clerks, Judges, Admins)

  1. From the homepage, click Sign In and select Court Staff.
  2. Sign in with email and password only (social login is not available for court staff).
  3. You will be taken to the Queue Board (clerks) or Admin Panel (admins).

Forgot Your Password?

If you cannot remember your password:

  1. Click Forgot your password? on the sign-in page.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your account.
  3. Click Send Reset Link.
  4. Check your email inbox for a message from CottFile. The reset link expires in 1 hour.
  5. Click the link in the email and follow the instructions to create a new password.

Don't see the email? Check your spam or junk folder. If you still don't receive it, contact your court's e-filing administrator.

Don't Have an Account?

Click Don't have an account? Register on the sign-in page, or see Creating Your Account for step-by-step instructions.

Signing Out

To sign out, click your profile icon in the top-right corner of any page and select Sign Out. Always sign out when using a shared or public computer.
